Qweshunga Day 2026 is a celebration of play, connection and community, created to remind adults of the joy and freedom we often leave behind as we grow older.
Inspired by the Runyankole-Runyakitara word Qweshunga, meaning playfulness, the event brings adults together to play, laugh, connect and simply have fun away from the pressures of everyday life.
Through games, music, creativity, movement and shared experiences, Qweshunga Day creates a relaxed environment where people can let loose, meet new people and reconnect with their playful side.
At its heart, Qweshunga Day is about creating meaningful connections through play and reminding ourselves that being an adult doesn't mean we have to stop having fun.
